What I was building
I was building ProjectDrop as a mobile app for capturing project ideas, voice memos, and text notes inside project folders.
Why it mattered
The goal was to stop project context from getting scattered across chats, documents, voice notes, and random notes.
What changed or broke
The coding-agent handoff feature changed the product direction. It made ProjectDrop feel less like a notes app and more like a project memory system.
What I learned
Useful AI output needs structure, constraints, and a clear format. A captured note becomes more valuable when it can turn into a summary, action list, report, or coding-agent handoff.
What I would improve next
I would keep refining the output formats and backend details before opening the app to wider testers.
